Back in September 2022, amidst a workshop on Women Economic Empowerment sponsored by UN WOMEN and ActionAid, Ms. Fanos, Deputy Manager of the cooperative, explained about the situation her colleagues were working in and ActionAid brought that to its attention and decided to visit the workplace to do what it could. During the visit by senior management team of ActionAid Ethiopia, the hard-working women pointed that they would prefer to be supported with chairs, tables, wheel/roller, crusher/mixer, and burner. As a proof for ActionAid that it walks what it talks, it did support what it promised to create decent work environment for the 300 hard-working women.
