Women

March 8, international women’s day was celebrated in Elfeta district on February 26th and 27th and continued to be celebrated in different kebeles after that. The event was organized in collaboration with Woreda level women watch group, Woreda women and children’s affairs and woreda administration. The focus of the event celebration was redistribution of unpaid care work, environmental protection and peace building. The woreda level event was conducted in two consecutive days focusing on different activities with the participants.
